Those [[Dung Soldier]]s in the sand fields immediately on the outskirts of my new adopted city hurt even more than Andariel herself could! I have not died once yet in the entirety of my adventures, but death chases ever closer now than it did in back in the west. When they die, they don't give up; they splash the last blast of electricity to stun me with it. I wish we could capture those dung soldiers so they could generate electricity for our lighthouses and our ships' beacons. If we ever get to harness electricity enough to replace candles with contained "light-bulbs," we could use these dung soldiers as our sources for electricity. Sure, this sounds like slave work, but it's the price they ought to pay for harrassing us out in the desert lands!
My new mercenaries die more quickly even if they're higher-level than the Rogues out west. My first was Durga, then the next was... oh which one was it? Was his name Washeed or Waleed? He was one of the most expensive ones - at 612 when the others were in the 500s, and yet, he died within 10 minutes of getting hired while we fought in the sewers under Lut Gholein. Maybe the hiring coordinator ought to train his mercenary job pool better.
I'd like to bring a Rogue to Lut Gholein because of their better proven track record, but since Visala didn't follow me East after slaying Andariel, I have reason to believe no other Rogues can. --[[User:ENG|ENG]] 09:34, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
